We offer a range of equipment that enables the racer or team to obtain most of their vehicle safety equipment from a single manufacturer. MOTORSPORTS SAFETY EQUIPMENT
RESTRAINTS AND HARNESSES
Safecraft manufacturer's a wide variety of harnesses and belts. Although we have several standard models, we will custom make a harness for you at no additional cost. We use only the best hardware, and everything is assembled right in our facility in the U.S. We offer several styles of cams and adjusters to suite your particular racing requirements, and we use only polyester webbing. All of our harnesses are SFI certified to either 16.1 or 16.5 specifications.
Safecraft also offers a free re-webbing program that allows you to get the same total service time as the more expensive European harnesses.
HEAD NETS
Safecraft has introduced a revolutionary new concept in right side head net design. Right side head nets prevent the drivers head from going to far forward and to the right in a frontal impact. Tests at several universities and by private organizations have showed that a right side net significantly helps prevent driver injuries. Safecraft's new design not only provides this valuable protection, but also makes it much easier to install. The new "Ratchet Latch" incorporates a tensioning mechanism and an emergency release if the driver has to exit the right side of the vehicle.
SEATS
Seats are an important factor to driver safety. They provide the necessary support and protection that result from impacts. We offer aluminum seats, of various styles and sizes that can help a driver feel more secure in their cars and help provide the necessary support required for serious driving. Our seats are all made from formed aluminum and welded on both sides for more strength. No plastic parts are used. Our seats also have provisions to mount either an installed extinguisher or removable extinguisher system right to the seat.
